4. Are you still recruiting, what should a prospective applicant do to prepare before they apply?
Not particularly. We're still looking for people whom we could possibly work with in the future, but at present our aims
are pretty precise. That said, don't be afraid to hand in portfolios, because you never know what may come up in the future
and it may be you, getting that sudden phone call for a manga artist. Portfolio is the keyword here to be honest, past experience
needn't be an issue.
5. Is there a specific genre that you intend to release and who are your target audience?
It's pretty much dependent on the title. But if I was to say anything about these titles it's that they are largely flexible,
from having a variety of highly intelligent text and philosophies, to large amounts of comedy too. Expect plenty of action
sequences to provide thrills and suspense. So the target audience I guess is pretty simple in that sense, the Manga audience
in general, being a fan of Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball Z, Deathnote, I'd say if any one likes any of those, then DP:COG (Demon
Prince: Children of Gaia) will provide plenty for you to enjoy and more! We do have titles that will suit all tastes form
sci-fi to drama to comedy, coming out in 2009. We have 14 manga books coming out next year, every month or more! Be sure to
look out for us.
6. We will be attending the MCM Expo in October. By this time what do you hope to have achieved?
By then we would have wanted to raise more awareness of Dimensional Manga within the manga/anime community and get people
to know who we are and what we are about. This would be great before our official launch in January. So all you manga nuts
out there check us out and give us a shout!
Also are they any big releases planned for then?
Bear with us, our first big release will be in January and that will be Hero Complex- the title everyone's being waiting for!
I'm sure we will get sneak previews available for those of you who can't wait! Exciting times ahead for the UK manga scene.
